Stress

Stress is defined as the body’s response to the demands of life, though stress also involves emotions and the mind.

Stress

Some of the most frequent stressors in life include; losing a job, getting divorced or going through a break-up, getting married, being discriminated against, change in financial status, having a child, moving house, beginning or ending school, experiencing a loss, being diagnosed with a serious illness.

When stress leads to drug or alcohol abuse, chronic physical illnesses or pain, an absence of pleasure or relaxation in life, or when it impacts your well-being in a negative way, it may be time to seek help.
